The intro dive course is a half day program (10:00-15:00) and has proved
to be one of our most popular courses.
Transfer is provided from/to the dive centre and back.
Before going in the water a medical history form is completed by each customer.
The necessary diving equipment is then given out.
An instructor conducts a theory session of about 15 minutes in order to
provide all the information about the equipment, safety and the dive itself.
The group is no more than six people and it's supervised by a certified
instructor and a surface safe diver.
The professional associations of Diving Instructors
Padi, Naui and IANTD/CMAS are the worlds' largest professional diving associations.
Their members (Instructors, Assistant Instructors, Dive masters) maintain
the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
The members are dedicated to making recreational diving a fun and adventurous safe sport available to people of all backgrounds and abilities. They promote the highest training and education in the techniques of safely participating in underwater activities.
The open water course is a 4 - 5 day course for beginners covering all
the theory and skills necessary to dive confidently without an instructor
up to 18m. By the end of the course the student, having completed 5 theory
lessons, 5 training exercises and dives in open water, will earn an internationally
recognized qualification*.
This 3 - 4 day course is designed to expand a divers skills and experience.
Under instructor supervision the diver is introduced to a variety of diving
techniques by completing 2 core dives (deep & underwater navigation)
and 2 elective dives chosen from boat, underwater search and multi level
recovery.
This course makes a diver more aware of themselves and their diving companions.
It teaches how to effectively prevent problem situations and how to respond
in case of a diving emergency. Topics/skills covered include prevention
of diving accidents, first aid for diving related injuries, accident management
techniques, equipment considerations, and assist & rescue techniques.
The course lasts 4 days (with an additional 3 needed if first aid training
required).
Dive Master is the first level of leadership training. This 10 day course sharpens the divers personal skills, gives a professional level of understanding of diver theory, teaches how to organise and conduct dives for certified divers, teaches how to supervise divers in training and qualifies the holder to assist in diver training.
